Cognitive Assessments |
Cognitive assessments review a person’s core mental skills that individuals rely on to perform both basic and complex tasks, including problem-solving, memory, reasoning, attention span, and comprehension. These types of assessments test the individual's verbal, non-verbal, and numerical skills. The type of tests may be different depending on the job role, as specific cognitive abilities may be more desirable than others.
When an individual understands their cognitive strengths or is made aware of their vulnerabilities, they can better target areas for improvement and identify the necessary steps to get there. |
Behavioral assessments are designed to uncover an individual’s personality traits and behaviors and reveal how these issues influence the individual's interactions in the workplace. This can include assessing their communication style, leadership style, ability to work in a team, and approach to conflict.
When an individual understands their behavioral tendencies, they are better able to navigate difficult or sensitive situations, resolve conflict, or engage positively with others. Their assessments reveal how they can capitalize on their strengths while mitigating or minimizing their vulnerabilities. |
